Finally, for those of you visiting this site, we at ColdBoot are officially soft launching today, 8/1/19. Mark this day in your calendars folks. We are extremely excited to get started. Our goal with this site is to delve into the wide wondrous world of technology, from an unbiased, no-holds-barred, practical approach. Major articles will be categorized as a review, news, guide, or discussion style post.
We want our articles to be detailed, and applicable to everyday technology use. As an example, do you ultimately care what frame rate you get with 3DMark, versus what you can expect to get with the reviewed gear, from a real-world perspective? Synthetic benchmarks do not often apply to AAA titles. Typically, there are gazillions of technology guides covering various topics out there in the interwebs, but they are often incomplete or biased in some manner. We want to do away with traditional technology articles, and bring you fresh, original and realistic approaches to everyday tech that you can use.
Our goal and hope is to have lots of continuing discussions and community input/participation on each article we publish; including this one!
